Accused:

Barney Rubble

The accused are suspected of:

Severe PM Abuse
Other: I was in a Speed game with Barney and some of his friends. Clearly based upon the game chat they were friends which is fine. During the game Barney missed a turn and I missed two. I returned and was a weak position as was Barney. I attempted to take out Barney to get his cards and I had both poor dice and it was a bit of a long shot anyway. The next player then sweep the board and the game was over.

Later I found he posted numerous profanities posted on my wall. He accused me of being on a suicide. I certainly can understand why he was miffed as he was targeted...but not because I was getting even nor angry...I had never played him before! For GODS sake it is a game! I simply deleted his abusive post off my wall and Foed him so he couldn't post to my wall anymore. I thought this would be the end of it unfortunately...

The next day I receive a very graphic PM from him berating me with profanities. I replied as politely as I could and explain my thoughts on why he was targeted and asked him to relax. I have now received a second PM again berating me with profanities. This is really going over the line. I have now simply replied that he should have a good day and wished him peace.

Whether my attempt to take him out (aka Failure = Suicide and Success = Victory) is really beside the point. Perhaps I did make a bad call and should have just waited to be taken out...I dunno...I only became a Premium member 2 days ago...regardless Abuse like this is simply uncalled for following a game...particularly the next day.

I don't want to post the PM's but would like to have them reviewed.

Click on the little exclamation point by each of the PMs. That will officially "report" them to the moderators.

Look...perhaps your a nice person but don't confuse a game wise attack on you as the equivalent of me screwing you over. Your not in jail, your not getting ripped off and I am did not hurt you in any way. I replied in the PM because you posted multiple times on my wall with profanities...I simply deleted them. You then sent me PMs with profanities (the next day) and you really wonder why I replied? My reply to you was simply an explanation of the game (from my view) and asked you to relax. You then reply again with more profanities. The PMs have now been officially reported to the moderators for their review.

Your behavior and reasoning that I am the cause of this issue is because I responded to you is proof enough that your behavior is cyber-bullying. Cyber bullying can be very damaging to their victims and is proven to lead to anxiety, depression, violence and even suicide. I am certain this is not what you are intending but the consequences of this kind of behavior is real. You sent message to someone who could have been a 10 year old for all you know. While I am not a kid, I have children who would like to play on this site as the gaming is fun.

If you don't like the way someone plays, it is entirely ok to give them a poor rating or to not play with them again. But going out of your way to be nothing short of mean and has lasting consequences on you and your victims.

I sincerely hope readers of this take a moment to think about the real consequences of their words on others. The only way to stop cyber-bullying is to shine a very bright light on it each and every-time.

Barney it is not acceptable (ever) to harm others, physically, emotionally, verbally or electronically aka cyberbullying.

you again carrying it on now with your high and mighty crap While Im sure you may let your 10 year old play on this site I sure wouldnt Especially speed games On second thought maybe a 10 year old would ve shown more respect to his fellow players than you did Two posts on your wall the First to say wtf after your second missed turn with 5 spoils ( suspicious for sure ) the second to tell you what I thought of your play I m sure I wont be the last if you
keep up that stuff.

...please use some punctuation as I cannot following everything you state...yes I missed 2 turns...but you keep ignoring the FACT that you also missed turns in the game!!!

But again...this isn't about the game...it is about your behavior after a game.

i completely agree with MrPipes on this one because if indeed those PM's show what MrPipe's has said then something should be done.

I'm sure you're not being sarcastic about Mr. Rubble's inability to speak in coherent sentences. He's just exercising his creativity!

Since the pm's have already been reported and handled, consider this case as closed.
Next time, if you find someone offensive or rude, put them on your foe list and move on (FAMO)

Putting someone on your foe list does not preclude them from sending you PMs, such as in this case.

only thing that springs to mind is to use the folder settings, but then they can still send, you just throw it in the trash
