And you knew how they would react. When you ask people to stop something that bugs ya it gives them more reason. Haven't you learned that yet?

And someone not understanding you or asking you to take your time to spell or being confused to the point of laughing is not exactly picking on you.

Ok, I'm not trying to sound like a jackass, but people definitely do respect you more if you spell well and use appropriate grammar. Use spell-check, capitalize and punctuate. I promise you that if you do this, people will stop.

Dark has a legit complaint. He only needed someone to point out to him that he needed to fix his spelling, and those two proceeded to harrass him. I don't know if this constitutes abuse, it might. Although I doubt it.

Looking at the timing of the posts, this is the only one I'd made when he decided I was flaming him:

I agree, I was getting a bit impatient by the second post. I don't call anything I said in that thread flaming, but whatever. Let me explain why I wasn't polite to you.

1. If you are so unintelligent that you can't spell correctly and don't know any grammar, you shouldn't be on forums at all in the first place.
2. If you are so lazy that you (1) don't take the .5 seconds at the end and start of each sentence to add a period and capitalize, (2) don't put more than half your brain into typing to spell something correctly, and (3) then get angry at people for asking you to spell it correctly... you are basically insulting the people that read your post.
- If you don't respect the reader of your post enough to put three seconds of extra effort to make your post readable, why in the world should the reader of your post respect you at all in trying to understand it?

I said "shouldn't" not "can't." I have nothing against people with learning disabilities at all. I have several times done volunteering for some of them in my area. (reading stories to them, taking them to the park and setting up games for them there etc.) However, there are things that they should and should not do. In my opinion, things like this are one of them.

If you don't know how to walk, don't enter a race.
If you don't know how to talk, don't try to give a public speech.
If you don't know how to how to spell things so that other people can understand it, don't go around posting stuff on forums. If you look at the thread, no one could fully understand him, and some people could only get part of a sentence. I understand it when people who can't spell but still make themselves understandable, however if most of the people who are reading your post are not understanding you, that shows that you shouldn't be posting things, don't you think?

Let me put it this way: However much effort someone puts into writing his post is how much effort I put into not speaking my mind about him.
