Comments: I have not played this guy for a long time and with good reason. He spoils games with his lousy attitude and gives the lowest rating for anyone he loses against. He is vindictive always and a sore loser of the worst kind. While I can't be rated by him anymore as I refuse to play games with such poor sports, I feel he should be dealt with for blatantly abusing the rating system. Some people may argue that ratings mean nothing but to some they do matter and it's not right that honest players should be subjected to this guy's passive aggressive behavior. If proof is needed, I urge anyone to look at how he rates any player in a game where he loses.

Seriously though, I don't care how he acts ingame. That's his right to be a jerk if he wants, players can just rate him accordingly. The problem I have is when he tarnishes people's ratings in an unwarranted way. That's when I feel the powers that be should at least warn him for the sake of harmony.

YOUR belief of what constitutes an all-1 rating is largely irrelevant to the point. What is at issue is not whether you agree with the ratings, but rather if there is sign of rampant abuse.

Actually Woodruff I disagree. In order to deserve a really poor rating on all 3 areas a lot of things would have to happen. So many things that it is statistically very unlikely. First of all, you would have to actually say something and if you did say something it would have to be pretty offensive to deserve a 1 star rating for attitude. Considering that most games are pretty quiet and even more are non-offensive a 1 star rating for attitude is rare. Secondly, while gameplay usually reflects the skill level of a player, a 1 star rating for gameplay would mean that the person did poorly considering their level of skill; another thing that is fairly rare. Thirdly, fair play only applies to certain types of games where there is even opportunity to play unfairly. At any rate, my point is that statistically it is rare for a person to deserve an all 1 star rating. This is especially true if the same person (GeneralAnestetic) rates 5 or 10 random people in a row this way. What are the odds of that?

I'm sorry you don't understand what I wrote but that's not exactly my fault. I tried to write it as simply as possible but here I will try again for your sake. I am not saying that my idea of a bad rating is the same as everyone else's (or should be). If you carefully read what I wrote the first time you would have noticed this. I am saying that for a person to have several consecutive games where all the parameters happen to warrant an all 1 rating is so statistically unlikely that that in itself is evidence that the person is abusing the system. Hope this clears things up for you.

GeneralAnestetic rated RISEME 1 for attitude.
He also rated him 1 for gameplay and fairplay but I dont see any of the other players complaining.

Jedilawson was rated 1 for attitude as well and he didn't even type a single word!

sacker_of_huns was rated all 1's for this game, including attitude. He never spoke a word, he just won.
Since he won and it was a free for all game I would say a 1 rating for gameplay is innapropriate.

Attitude: lennyh was very composed considering GeneralAnestetic's attitude.
Gameplay: GeneralAnestetic is complaining about lennyh's luck. This has nothing to do with gameplay.
Fairplay: GeneralAnestetic never complains about unfair play, he just is very obvious about his vindictive nature.


These are just a few examples of abuse of the system by GeneralAnestetic from just the first page of his rated games.
Approxiamately 50% of his games he rates in this manner by my guess if you look at his rated games.
His first two pages of rated games are at least 90% all 1 ratings.
I think that these facts are sufficient evidence that abuse is taking place.

Agreed on all of this. I've had the misfortune of playing this guy in some speed games. His attitude in general sucks, and, more importantly, I, as well as others, in all the games we played, were rated badly. Why? Because he lost. This guy is a grade A douche. Foed.
