Comments: Four-player game, red eliminated early on. Blue was then situated btw me and Yellow. My first suspicions arose when yellow, a noob who was supposedly playing his first and only game, was able to maintain two strong regions while using all of his deployments against me. Then I noticed that blue as well was deploying only on the regions facing me. In general, weird, dubious gameplay. Kind of sad how obvious it was.
So, baffled by the gameplay, I broke through to find out what was going on on the other side of the board: There was nothing but a sea of 1s protecting all bonus regions. The only powerful terts were those that blue had facing me. Yellow had no powerful terts since basically he was exhausting all of his offense attacking me.
A casual stroll through the game log will show that blue "cleverly" attacked yellow's terts now and then and vice versa. These were presumably inconsequential terts taken to cement a bonus.
"They" usually took turns w/in fifteen minutes of each other. Though once there was a span of two hours btw turns. Tricky.
