Are the territory counts for each map listed anywhere?


I realise i could find them by counting them in the maps but blimey.... some genius cartographer must have compiled this list?

ya Jimmi- if you're playing with Bob, just go to the side menu under View Options and change it to extended.


Suppose I answered the round about way of obtaining the information- surely can't be too hard to jump on each map and find out

I assume you are asking for a list or spreadsheet with each map and their respective territory counts. Not that I know of, but I will move this to the Foundry to see if anyone there knows.

A very good idea. Another good thing would to be able to have some sort of Map Rules for the complicated maps like waterloo, battle of Accium and so on!

Yeah... of course i could do as Scotty advises .. but i need territory counts for every single map; not too much of a hassle but a labour if someone has already published the info.

I am going to use it as a clan tool for deciding/guiding map choice for various team games in Clan-challenges (good for Tournament organisers too i assume)
It would also be good for judging if we need some map-making focus upon certain board size?

It would be grand if someone had this list to hand.

Hi, just wondering if someone is willing to update this list as new maps come in?

I'm going to use these numbers for predefined tags in the map organiser (game filter script) so people can quickly find maps
of certain sizes.

verifying that these numbers are correct is important too

You know what, this is something I can write a script for to read the map xmls so there's no discrepancy, probably better.

Done. Territory Tag counts derived from reading the current xmls. Territory default tags added to games filter script.

Territory count available on the game finder for each map - click on the map image with latest version of Games Filter script.
Also gives starting territories.
