...Tell them I said something...

Cheerio, and goodbye.
I'm afraid I have come to the end of my ConquerClub tenure, at least for the foreseeable future. It's been an enjoyable eleven months.
Today, President Bush released his federal budget proposal for the fiscal year 2009, which may not matter to some, but analyzing and displaying this information is actually my livelihood over at TheBudgetGraph.com. Creating the poster takes about two months of hard work (yes I've been on vacation for 9 months) and then promoting it will keep me busy for a month thereafter. I would love to say that I will be back to CC in three months time, but I have recently made some exciting changes to my business plan which will hopefully keep my busy through out the year.
That being said, I am still committed to following through on my ongoing projects as time permits.
Battle for Iraq and Supermax: I will keep updating these (on the weekends most likely) until they are quenched. I am really excited about these two maps and think they will be a welcome addition to the roster.
Skyscraper!: I really will attempt to see this through completion as it has got so much support from the forums and everyone PM'ing me. This is quite a task and updates will be very slow I'd imagine, but skyscrapers aren't built in a day.
Arms Race!: My idea for an ideal small map will be left in WidowMakers quite capable hands.
Epoch: While I still love the idea for this ambitious project, I am keeping it on indefinite permafrost until I can revisit it properly. Given that the usergroup never really found it's footing, if I return to this project I will helm it until completion. So the I will be shutting down the usergroup. However, I will finish the video tutorial series and post them in the forums when its finished.
So thats it, I have a couple more games to finish up and thats it. In addition to an increased work load, I think I am suffering from acute community fatigue. Making maps was a great way to use my idling skills, but it has served its purpose very well, and I am no longer idling. I might check back in once a week, but given that I have barely been around these past weeks anyways, the forum topics just don't seem to hold their appeal.
But I can be reached directly at fivesix (-at-) gmail.com for this or that. Many thanks to all the lovely people in AADOMM, I will always smile knowing I gave you guys the most ridiculous name, google it some time eh.
