Illustrator help

How do you make sure that when you wanna make 2 territories next to eachother, the penpath of the border is the same?

I think you would add 2 anchor points to the first path, then make your lines off of them, so you do not have overlapping paths.. ?

But I'm not totally sure. I use only photoshop.

nah that doesnt work
maybe make it more clear
part of the borders need to be exactly at the same place so the path needs to be the same

my advice would be to get photoshop cs2 or cs3. it's much better and you will receive advice much faster since everybody uses it.

sorry but i have no idea how illustrator works and i don't think anybody around here uses it. that's why i suggested to switch to photoshop.
i used fireworks 8 but because photoshop had more possibilities and because i could get more advice for photoshop i made the switch.

use the pencil and adjust the curving to suit your needs. The borders in my Iraq map are one large path.
Using the pen tool will drive you insane.

if you download any of widowmakers maps the pats are the same so i thought it would be possible
