I just found this to be so awesome. It's a solid artistic approach while still using the general functionality of maps. The problem with using maps in art, in my opinion, is that they just become decoration. Which is cool in some cases. But I like seeing maps retain their functionality of showing a place. This piece really does all that for me. It has the artistic aesthetic and still seeks to show where "In My Native Land" is.

Thoughts?

I think it's interesting, but a lot of the beauty is lost due to the fact that it doesn't flow well. It just looks like map scraps placed to make an artistic-looking collage.

It would be neat to see a CC map created in this more artistic fashion, as long as it flows better.
