Re: AJAX BOB 4.6.3 Development/Discussion (don't post bugs here)

Have you ever thought of having alignment settings done on a per-map basis adjustment from the all-map alignment settings? It would prevent the double armies bug.

Or you could move the Europe armies position in the xml up and to the left a few pixels, and move the shading there too.

Nah, he has no control over that. Greasemonkey is an extension which allows his script to run. He doesn't control it.[/b]

If conquer club is blocked, you'll need to find a way to get the script to run on the proxy site, by modify it in the greasemonkey settings, and have a way to get the map data, which the proxy would have trouble getting. You might need to backup all the xml files to another site, and modify the GM ...

Suggestion - Advanced Game Settings

It seems to me that a lot of suggestions get shot down because Lack doesn't want to make the Start A Game page have too many options.

How about adding an advanced game creation page? Put all the obscure options there. For games that used advanced settings, CC could tell the players joining the ...

Well, other Greasemonkey scripts could use it, too.
Cicero, that could work. I'll have to write functions to get different sets of countries, with ones to get such sets as:
Every country
All of a player's
All enemies
All with a certain amount of armies
All with more than a certain amount of ...

Board Analysis Language

I was thinking of making a greasemonkey script that you could ask things like "countries bordering iceland not owned by Player1", and other thing from set theory, like unions of sets of countries and intersections. For some complicated maps, it could be really useful, but even for simpler maps, a ...

Now, all you need is to do the safeness checking across teams, and an easy way to just see a player's/team's unsafe areas, and you'll have basically recreated the patch I tried to make.

Whoah! Slow down! That's not the step I was referring to. I'm still waiting for any new suggestions to be added to the old 4, which I have taken into consideration and and to which I have posted 4 logical rebuttals.

First, I gave you suggestions and you ignored them.
Second, you are not just ...

Yes, but say that other people have problems and need mental help while only knowing them to be angry from a post that had good reason to be angry at you is rude, a great example of namecalling, and really not helpful for yourself, because if no one wants to ...

From how rude you were to mibi, I felt that the adjective was warranted.

Stop being a snob. You aren't even reading the suggestions. The point of logical rebuttals is to convince us you have a good point, even if we disagree. You don't. Stop repeating the same post over and over. Don't be a hypocrite. If other people repeat things and you ignore them, why would they ...

And seriously, needing a 9 page topic just to fight over whether or not a map is done is just plain stupid.

Yep. But try 120 pages.

Yeah, I'm colorblind too. The colors are fine for me as it is. I didn't need to use the colorblindness setting for games until i started playing with more than 4 people.
And bold is fine. I may be colorblind, but I'm not thickness-blind or plain blind.
