Re: Yugoslavia

Alright! Believe it or not...I have not stopped working on this project. I've merely been delayed thanks to college. However, I do have a new edit for everyone's consideration and a couple of ideas for the map.

Re: Yugoslavia

I was wondering when someone would start to design that map. Maybe the best idea would be Yugoslavia in 1990 before the wars, or maybe in the war with special bonuses for occupied territorries. I'm here to help if someone decide to do it

I've been working on the original I posted, but getting it ...

Re: Lunar

intresting idea, is a decent idea. but i don't know about copyright thingy.
any idea's on...
+ bonuses
+ what territory will join
+ number of territorys

I'm think that the map should be rather complex, considering the complexity of the society that lived in the game.

There is an island ...

Re: Yugoslavia

I'm very excited to be working tonight and thus I have this...

The exact same thing without the other Yugoslavian names in the way...along with black squares as a reminder to where the cities were.

Re: Yugoslavia

After some very thorough searching...I've found the map I think I'll work this from for just the basic detail.

Here are the initial changes I've made...any and all suggestions as to how to split it up and what to ...

Re: Yugoslavia

A yugoslavia map would be nice, but i don't think any territories outside yugoslavia should be present in the map. The whole map would be just yugoslavia, the 6 republics would act as continents and be further divided into regions.

That might be easier to work with. Actual spellings would be ...

Re: Yugoslavia

Has anyone thought to try and make a map of Yugoslavia during it's heyday? You could even throw in a little Cold War action going on having it surrounded by the USSR and Greece, even continue the map across the Adriatic to include Italy.

Just a thought I had in mind.
Yugoslavia never had cold war ...

Re: Etiquette

Ay, but the 'random' creation and destruction of particles is simply the 'unknown'. Until we know it, how can it appear as any more than random? The argument can be made both ways unfortunately.
Pointless argument. We can't "know" whether true randomness can exist or not. Any proof will be ...

Do we disqualify Serbia if he doesn't join the games after 24 hours?

Re: Etiquette

Quantum Mechanics only proves that you will never know exactly where something is on the quantum level, it's simply moving too fast in any number of directions. That's why it's called the 'electron cloud'. That does not make it's location 'random' to me. That makes it 'unknown'. The unknown is what ...

Lunar

To start off with, I don't mean the moon...well...I do...but I don't.

There's a game called Lunar: Silver Star Story.

I won't put in a synopsis of the game...but I had a thought to try and make a map of the map in that game.

If you credit it to the game, you avoid copyright laws...correct? Or am ...

I just wanna know how to go about things.... and I have a few specific concerns.

What's this places view on randomness? Because I do that.

Also, suggesting a move to an opponent which is clearly in his short term disfavor, yet would be noted as the most optimal way to disbalance a powerful player ...

Re: What's good maps for beginners?

One to consider is Alexander's Empire. There is little forethought required, but for it I always recommend having no spoils. Perhaps that's the historian in me protecting one of my favorite parts of history, or not. I can not exactly say. However, it also has the pinnacle moment much sooner than ...
