make sure you can add countries onto it if they get added to the European union (i.e. turkey)

really cool except for the +20 bonus. 3 territories and you win the game! not fair. maybe make the entire icbm only able to attack the stage above it, and give it a bonus of 4 or 5. But that may be too much because you only really have to hold the silo then to get the bonus...
the silo could give ...

isn't a hypercube a 4 dimensional cube? the only way to implement that in c&c (because last time I checked, the internet was 2d) you would need to have the map constantly moving and that would only be a three dimensional cube... unless you did a three dimensional representation of a four dimensional ...

turn it to light green! teal is to blue as light green is to green. it would show up fine, and not be confused with neutral or red or just empty space.

I really dislike the pink color. It is impossible to see on some maps and it looks an awful lot like red... why not have light green instead?

I haven't read through the 200 odd posts, but I think I know the angle of this topic... A bit of a science v religion hate topic, right?

I agree conquerclub logo needs to be bullseye

maybe the archer can only attack the 10 yard target, and the ten yard target bullseye can attack the 20 yard target etc, etc...

or even better... there is a path going to the targets from the archers pen which is 6 (plan for 8 maybe) archers and ...

I say forget the riddle, just have random borders and effects on the territories. That sounds really cool. Maybe you could even do a different map each time, not just xml.
It could be in space. Planets move around each time you play the map, so you never know exactly the what the gameplay will be ...

I agree with that method. I hate playing maps with the names all boring and blah.

Relating to the height, it humbles me from my widescreen perch. All have to scroll, widescreen or no. I don't mind it though, but it would be pissy on a speed game

Oh, and if you do H-1 then what if you have ...

what about adding canals in?

do you mean adding canals as territories, or as borders?
adding as territories is not a bad idea
but I don't think the thing I'm missing is more borders, if that is what you mean. Maybe if my map was larger I could fit more into it... though the only thing small ...

um, I think it's kinda obvious that Australia is blacked out because it doesn't hold any influence...

it's not that it's been smashed into the sea by god, it's just that is has been of negligible importance. It has had close to 0 influence on history up to this point, perhaps it will go that way ...

edit: Put seas in and say that if you own 3 you get +3
4 you get +4
5 you get +5
6 you get +6
Own all 7 and you get +7

I was going to have something like that, but I dropped it for this version because I used seas as part of the oceans... the arctic would have like 2 territories without the ...

I dislike the d-day maps planes too... just weighing in on that point

But anyway, one thing you are all not mentioning is the player to go second, while he may have one less army to drop, has the advantage of attacking ones instead of threes. Now I'm pretty sure the odds are better 6v1 than 7v3 ...

ive always thought it was kinda stupid to have those so prominently placed, but then again, I do prefer it to having win loss posted there

the only way to have a decent win loss is playing small games, not 6 player melees
