Also, the territory borders are rather intuitive - the halls (pink floor, brighter than the rest, long narrow hallways - pretty obvious) separate the four other territories. The only one I can see people getting mixed up on is they may think the gate is part of the halls.

As for The Hole.. it would be interesting to encourage players to try to use it even if they don't have the warden, just to raise the possibility of taking advantage of the penalties there. What if you could receive the bonus for armies in The Hole with the warden and/or 602? I realize you might ...

I actually just fortified my yard drops onto one army, punched through 005, and took it from there.. card bonuses helping. It would be a far different strategy without cards, and without unlimited fortification.. I should probably try a game with those options.

I haven't even taken my turn yet in game 3250536 (fog is on, so the number probably won't help), but already I've noticed I started with 3 armies on w7 (my starting position was the blue home and shop in the blue neighborhood). The whole warden area gets you a pretty big bonus, and if you take all the prisoners out front (meaning outside 001), all you gotta do is hold a single point - 005 - for an easy +10 bonus (not including the sheer number of easy territories included within). Also not to mention the bombardment spots ...
