I play an email form of Risk at http://gamesbyemail.com/Games/Gambit The world map is simple and you only take turns as you wish, no time limit. I like to play with my daughters who would never think of playing CC but like the odd game of Risk with Dad at their leisure. You can play 2 to 8 people with the various settings.

probably the most 'pure' Risk map is the World 2.1 if you like longer games and nothing too weird, FYI this site has only been around for 4 and a half years, dunno what you were playing 30 years ago.

I believe the game that nattydread posted above should be reason alone to ban the guy, I didn't know he was making racist comments, thats a whole other story. I never was defending the guy, only defending CC in that there is a pretty good system in place to check out a guy's record.

How the hell can he 'dump' points. He has only one, from what I see he is usually the 1st one in on team games, his stats speak for themselves.

He has the lowest points in CC, a 89% play rate and YOU chose to join him in a team game that he was already in, maybe check out a player's stats before you whine, he paid his money, I don't recall any rules about having to be intelligent here.
