Yeah, if KNs have to be an exception, it should be a simple exception. Maze Craze will just be a very interesting map with AA. Couldn't we simply take basic win %, and use opponents instead of games? [opponents beaten]/[opponents played]. This way, winning 8-player games is still better than winning 3-player games, but if you win enough 1v1's, it works out the same.

I'd say that not allowing those maps is a solution. Incompatibility didn't stop them from implementing 8 player games, they simply solved the problem by eliminating the clash.

There would still be "red," blue", "green" armies. You just wouldn't know which player was red, which player was green, and which player was blue.

then person A edits out their stupid thing,
that's really unfair to person B.

Quotes should always be allowed, so people can always see exactly what you are actually responding to, no matter what the other poster edits later.

Actually, I'm starting to like the restricted maps option. We're already not allowed to play certain maps if we're doing 8-player... Why not have certain maps be unplayable with AA? This way, we don't have to compromise the integrity and simplicity of the rule. Just have it behave like 7-players ...
