As for reviewing those currently on Complete Anything Vacations (Forum, Live Chat, Ratings, Website) most likely we will continue to move from this point forward.

Ok, I figured I would take a lot of flak for not having all the facts before speaking.

Where is pimpdave
This isn't an obligatory "free pimpdave" thread. Just trying to find out what happened to him. He's been a guest for almost a month now. When does he come back?

I just don't get how you can join a community that's been provided to you free of charge by someone else, is the property of someone else, and then you act like it's your god-given right to say how things should be!

Re: perma ban "solution?" ?????
perhaps the solution would be to follow the guidelines and behave, rather than lining up enough warnings to put yourself in the danger-zone then trying to change policy so that you dont get banned....

For those following along at home, the score is now 3 for the recovering alcoholic, and 3.5 for the burger joint. Although, it might be worth mentioning that neither of them has scored any points (said something new, or worthwhile) in the last 4 or 5 pages.

Re: For Minor Infractions, 6 Months Max Vacation instead Perma
I think the key here is minor issues. There just does not seem to be that much of a distinction between minor issues and major ones.
I very much agree. Maybe offenses need to be separated into offenses against the site or in-game offenses and offenses against users (which might happen more often ...

Re: For Minor Infractions, 6 Months Max Vacation instead Perma
What the hell is with people wanting more level of punishment? Major and minor is fine for christs sake. Do we really want to end up with something more complicated? Would a "Major, moderately major, moderate, moderately minor, minor" really improve things? Two scales is fine and the only real ...

Re: The Fundamental Problem with Permanent Bans
For the most part, we've taken the stance that Disciplinary Actions are between the user and Conquer Club. For our part, unless there is a public investigation going (a filled out Cheating & Abuse report), the matter is a private one. However, if the user would like to give their disciplinary ...

I am more inclined to go with option 3 or option 4..but maybe as suggested.. with a 1 year in there before perma... I mean if a user even comes back after a year..and still doesn't want to follow the rules...... then perhaps they don't need or really desire to truly be here.

Re: The Fundamental Problem with Permanent Bans
Actually, public release of such information could become a form of mod abuse. On the one hand, I stll maintain that it is a score card for the "bad boys. " a way of forcing the system to document thier "achievements." On the other hand it could become a method of public ridicule by the mods of ...
