I believe rank should be posted at all times where the player's name is posted. For me, this gives the game an important military feel and context and the rank emblems just look so good. Please do not display player names without the emblems beside them. It would rob the game of flavor and character ...
If it's a copyright issue, then how did we get away with using borderlines (and blatantly borrowed terms such as "Sauron" and "BagEnd") on the "Midgard" map? That map is a beautiful deviation of the old "Middle Earth" map because it uses political borderlines instead of these ugly connect-the-dots ...
I realize that this is probably a mute point by this stage of the game, but I really miss the classic look of having each territory separated by borderlines. The original was always more like a political map than a satellite image. This obviously had the benefit of not needing these dominating ...
Hey, folks. I just started my first "Manual" deployment game (Europe Map) and I deployed all of my troops in one bonus (The Near East). Due to my own conservative playing style (or cowardice), I sought to avoid an early, major conflict in this game. As initial deployment is kept secret before Round ...
I personally love no cards games, but i'm surprised they're thrown into the mix with other styles in this tournament due to their often extremely long-enduring nature. I think the subtle added motivation provided by the 'Terminator' style is appropriate in avoiding the potential month/year long ...
Would it be too much to ask for an explaination directly from CC itself?
If these rediculous changes are permanent, I have no interest in renewing my membership. I'd imagine that's probably the case for atleast half of the premium members on here not to mention how unappealing this site will look ...
Hey, folks. I was thinking of ways that this game could become more like the original Risk boardgame and I recognised one vastly significant difference; Randomized drops as apposed to manual ones. I think for casual games, this would be too big a task to pursue.. but for speed games, I think it's ...
Hey guys, i'm new to private games. Looking for 5-6 player sequential escalating games. Preferably standard map with unlimited forts... and a cherry on top.
The missed turns multiplier is in need of reform. I understand that we're trying to promote a casual experience, but there needs to be some kind of discouragement for the missing of turns. The current system encourages them in most cases.
-Firstly, the rule should not apply to speed games at all ...
Hey, i'm a new player. Was wondering if the army drops at the beginning of every game limits a player from starting with a whole continent, or is it truly random with no restrictions? Also, I think a game option allowing manual drops or manual reinforcement at the beginning of the game would be a ...
Yeah, sequential and freestyle are definitely two different ballgames. I'm a new player and have played almost exclusively freestlye games thinking that they would take less time. But now i've learned that I actually end up spending way more time taking my turns and waiting than I would in a ...
I think it's an error that should be ammended. Two players shouldn't even be able to play their turns at the same time. Also.. why do you get an entire hour to take your turn?
